I Don't Like Promises

I try to avoid promises in every capacity.

It's just my way.

I really dislike promises every one that has promised me something has broken them I myself use the term but thats all it really is promises are the biggest let down and if you really feel like I'm being a little harsh here people...

Promises,Hate 'em,Made to be broken,Usual bull,I'm tired of it,that's why I make 'em,No more!

I hate promises because I'm afraid of the future and don't believe anyone will ever be there for me always.  Promises and plans are only heartbreak waiting to happen, though, admittedly, I have made plans that happened and knowing...

It seems every time someone promises me something, it usually doesn't happen.  Drives me crazy.

I don't make promises or committments I don't keep, and I don't say "I love you" when I don't mean it. It's hard when few others play by the same rules.

I try not to make promises to people since it's too easy to no follow through.   Instead of telling someone that I "promise" to do something or make sure something gets done,  I say "I'll try"...

I hear your best intentions, to the point of getting bored, when you make such promises, it leaves your game unscored. It’s better not to mention it, then give me a surprise, when I heard your excuses, they sounded...

And i find it scary, and am more aware, if they promise me things without me asking them to.

A certain fragility becomes associated with something once it is branded with those words - 'I Promise'
Plans and dreams suddenly hold a greater weight, yet are balancing on a thinner line as the very act of the promise itself becomes...

I do not like the feeling of being obligated to someone based on something that I said that I would do for them.  I always feel bad when I agree to the promise, and do not carry it out, because I honestly forgot to do it, and then have...

Yes i do! only if they are kept, i hate making a promise and then breaking them,. When i make a promise then friends and aquaintences, know i will keep them!
