    The R word. I HATE that word

    so much! I have autism, and I have had lots of friends with autism, and I think that word is really offensive! Just thinking about it makes me angry.

    Best Practices

    Did a consultant come up with this one?  I think the answer is yes.  Right along with "benchmarking".  At least no one has converted "best practices" to "bestpracticing" yet.  How can there be best practices in a work group of five people, all under thirty...

    Actionable.  Worse than the C-word, but you can say it in public. (It doesn't even get the spell check squiggly!  That is beyond pathetic.)

    No!  No!  No!  My mom even says this one.  No one speaks TO a point.  They speak ABOUT a point, in favor of a point, or regarding a point.  We speak TO other people.

    I know, it's two words. I dislike having someone say "we need 'to speak to' this problem". We speak to other people. We speak about or of problems.
