    Being Your Own Source Of Happiness

    I used to only have regular TV. I used to watch cable but then I long ago noticed cable is now flooded with advertising.  I am old enough to remember cable when it only showed programs without advertising. This is why we paid for cable in the first place... our subscriptions...

    I have never owned a television

    since I had children.1:the house has no TV point-it was built by my partner.2:There are other things the kids can do.We have the iPad for our TV.

    A Good Choice

    One of the best decisions I have ever made was to throw out the idiot box . I actually never missed it that much either .It's been 7 months now and I find listening to the radio much better ( and informative ) . Sure TV is a great escape but so is reading or music or talk back...

    I Wonder How People Survived Before the Invention of Television

    Considering the vast amounts of television-watching that people do (both here in the US and elsewhere), sometimes you just have to wonder: how did people cope before TV? Hard as it is to believe, life did exist - for many, many years - here on Earth without any televisions...

    Just Consider Ditching It

    I really do urge others to try live just one week without the telly , I never thought I could live without ( I needed it on to sleep for gods sake ) but I did it .Great decision .
