    No I Don't

At least, not with other people. I'll go to a coffee shop as early as I can on a Sunday morning to read my book, or I'll go to see a film in a cinema, preferably at a time when the screen will be empty-ish. But I don't go out to the pub for a drink with friends, or alone for...

    Wish I Could...

There were times in my life where I got out on a daily basis, but after I lost my job was when I began to stay in more. I found I would only get out when it was necessary. It has been ages since I last attended a rock concert or gone to a nightclub. And it has been months since I...

    Not a Party Girl.

I don't care about parties, I don't care about getting out and getting wasted/drunk, whatever.  I'm content to stay at home and read, write, chat online, play some video games, cook, clean .... there's plenty to do without ever stepping foot outside the door!

    Not Out Of Choice Though....

I just don't have any friends so have no social life. I spend most of my freetime with family which makes me feel ashamed and child like. I would love to be able to go out to a bar or pub for the night like I used to. I worry that will never again happen for me. It's horrible...

When I was in middle school,

I used to always get jealous of the kids who could go hang out with their friends freely. It didn't affect me so much then but it really does affect me now that I'm in high school. I'm a junior in high school and I could probably count on one hand how many times I've been able...

I Need to Get a Life

I do get out quite a bit but its never for entertainment purposes. I go to school, take my son to the doctors, go shopping for the basic necessities but never for anything recreational. I don’t have much of a social life other than the one I have created online...

Always Been a 'homebody', But Not Really By Choice

My shyness kicked into high gear by the time I was 10, so since then I haven't really gotten out and up to much of anything.  Other than going out to eat or to the movies with my parents, I pretty much stay home.  I'd like to get out more, but most places I feel weird...

    I'm Kind of a Homebody

I've just never been an actively social person. I'm by no means a quiet person, and I have friends in my classes and organizations I'm involved in, but I very rarely go out to clubs or anything like that. In the past few years, I've decided to try a bit more when it comes...

I sit on my bed surrounded by the same four

white walls I've always stared at. I look at the curtains shielding my window. I want to go out, but if I did I don't think I'd survive. I'd freeze in mere seconds. I don't like wearing socks, shoes, giant coats. They all feel like restrictions. I'm a free spirit I love going...

    Extrovert Forced Into Introversion.

Truly, I love people. I love places. I love things. It doesn't matter if it's a big city or a small town, I just love being out and about. I miss just walking down the street, breathing in the air and being at complete awe of the potential for love in each stranger I'd passed. I...

Swept Under The Rug: The Confessions Of A Loner.

I've pretty much been a lone wolf all of my life. Even when I had friends to hang out with I still preferred to be alone. Now that I'm older my outlook on life has changed and I'm starting to realize how much of a freaking hermit I really am.  What's worse is that I don't...

I enjoy myself being by myself much more.

I can dress and do whatever I want. There aren't to many places to go by yourself unless you have transportation. So if I do anything I enjoy I usually take a walk or go shopping. It helps take the stress away and allows you to enjoy memories with coffee.

    Completely Caged

The way my parents are I never really get to go out. Not unless they are with me. So, to avoid embarassment I rarely go out at all. My friends understand but, it is frustrating to know your friends avoid asking you to hang out because of your parents. They make me feel like I am...
