    It's a Privilege

In my mind, trust is something that must be earned. I don't trust easily although I do have a lot of trust in those who are close to me who have proved themselves. I trust my man 110% because he deserves it

I Have Never Trusted People Easily Since I Was A Young Child

I have never trusted very well and it goes back to abuse from a very young child or toddler... the night I signed up to ASCA I wondered if I should trust - I got a taxi but the whole way I was edgy and I rang my mum fearful of what I might find when I got there... she told me...

    My Double-standard.

I don't Trust easily at all. I always assume most people I know will end up betraying me one way or another. I've been back stabbed by so many friends in the past it's ridiculous. Thankfully I've learned to pick my friends better and learned which ones really were my true...

People Trust Me, Before I Trust Them

I never tell too much about myself. Even with my close friends, they know enough about me to put on either an index card or 1 sheet of paper. That's it. On the other hand, people find it VERY EASY to confide in me about all their weaknesses and issues. They'll give me a tidal...

Sometimes it seems like people demand trust

from me. How about no? Why would anyone think that they're just entitled to someone else's trust? Then act as though you should feel bad because you didn't trust them...It's more like they prove I was right to not give them my trust.

    Too Many Mistakes.

I used to trust everyone with everything. I believed that people deserved to be trusted unless they proved otherwise. Clearly, I was very naive. I got screwed over. A lot. Now, I only trust one person. Barely. My boyfriend. We've been together for almost 9 months, but I still don...

    It's how I've always been

since I could remember, even as a little girl I never really had that instant trust and close cuddly nature. But when I do trust someone I really do trust them 100% and I'm pretty much a different person with them, I'm more open, funnier as well as more cuddly. People who don't...

    I Can't

I haven't ever been hurt by anyone *not badly enough to give up on trust* but I think I'm afraid to let someone in and connect with them out of fear that they will damage my trust and then I'll be left feeling stupid and lonely over something that I shouldn't have done. I know it...

    I Don't Have To.

For a long time, I thought that I didn't trust people because they were unreliable at best; malicious at worst.  I felt that in order to feel safe and confident about my emotional and physical well-being, I needed to maintain distance and avoid opening myself to them.  I have...

    I Use to

People will lie to get what they want. They will tell you whatever you what ever you want to hear. So now I always second guess what ever anyone tells me until they have proven their trustworthiness.

If you have earned my trust friend, you have earned it from someone who has the physical and emotional scars to back up his play. I am not saying you should feel special, I am your equal. You should just know someone who wants to, but simply can't trust many, took notice of your...

    I don't take compliments.

This is my first shared experience. Whenever someone, especially someone not in my social circle, gives me a compliment I don't believe them, and especially don't trust them. I think either they're lying or they're trying to get something out of me or they just have bad taste...

    I Don't Trust Easily

Growing up, I've seen nothing but negativity, pain, and betrayal. In response, I have closed myself off to the world while being open to the dwindling positiveness.  In few cases have I seen things worth giving my trust and hope in.  So, despite my last story and my screaming...

    I Don't Trust Easily

I just don't. Not a single one of my friends (or family) know more than the most general things about me. I come off as very open and honest, since I'm a bit of a clown and can seem pretty shallow. And that's the way I try to keep it. Not a single one of them knows a single...
