    I used to love pitbulls,

and still believe that if they are raised as puppies, and are not trained to be aggressive they can be good. However, a pitbull/lab mix got loose in our neighborhood and broke through our gate and attacked my old frail Sheltie. She was just out for a few minutes and he came and...

I'm a bit afraid of dogs in general

but I still love them... if that makes sense? I used to have the stereotypical opinion of pits until I saw a show called Pitbulls and Parolees. It completely changed my mind. Now they are my favorite dogs! I always try to explain why this stereotype is completely wrong if I hear...

    Its human responsibility

for the dogs behavior! Dont ever blame the dog! Dogs just want love & attention & obviously the bad owner couldnt give that to them. Respect & care for your lovely pet.

I go to the dog park regularly with my hound

mutt. It is never the pitbulls that are causing problems. Huskies are aggressive and need an assertive master and they cause lots of problems. The inbred labs and golden retrievers that are churned out of puppy mills are nasty. The sad part is, people are too lazy or stupid...

    It's such an unfair judgment.

My aunt has two pitbulls, and I have never felt threatened by either of them. They are lovers. They are some of the sweetest dogs you will meet.
