    Not Really Missed

Yeah, I used to watch a lot of TV. I liked watching game shows and cartoons. In fact one of my favourite things to do in grade school was rush home and watch the Disney Afternoon. I noticed as I got older, that although the shows I loved were long cancelled save for Jeopardy...

    Pasttime

I used to watch television. I don't nowadays. It's been a couple months since I watched tv. It isn't that I don't have time or that nothing good's on. I just lost interest in watching. Will I gain interest in watching the channels I used to love watching, again? I hope so. I...

I do like some television programmes

that concern history, animals, nature or some comedy but other than that I prefer listening to the radio. It is more relaxing I find.

    Very Rarely

When I have it on, i tend to keep it tuned to the music channels, for background noise. I am not interested in any continuing dramas, I don't have the staying power, and truly hate reality television shows, I find myself comparing everything I watch to something I ...

    Don'T Miss It At All.

I used to have direct TV. 3 months ago, i cancelled it and bought a ROKU instead. I havent missed regular TV one little bit. I went from almost $80 a month to $16 by subscribing to netflix online and Hulu plus. Probably one of the best financial decisions i've made since i only...

    I dislike television.

Look at it there, burbling away to itself in the corner, unregarded by anyone. Low mentality drivel which does nothing to improve, educate or otherwise enlighten us. Pointless programming, endless self appointed celebrities continually pushing their products. Mundane...

    Kill Your Tv

My father was very strict and pretty unconventional. TV was against the rules. We had a TV and a VCR, movies were allowed (rarely) but TV never. At one point, when I was a curious pre-adolescent girl, we were living in Brazil. Soap Operas or 'Novelas' are very...

T-V Has Taken A Back Seat

Ever since I got a computer April 2008 the T-V has taken a back seat. I only watch about three or four shows per week on average. At least with the computer I can make my own entertainment.....

It's a Lie, You Can Use the Tv Without a Remote

Usually because my sister is glued to it. Once I nicked the remote so she could change channels, I walked in ten minutes later to see she was happily using the box under the tv to swap channels, grrrrr, I was told that would work by someone. All it meant was she had to see right...

    Never Missing Much!

At home I hardly ever watch TV. The news is about the only thing I watch once in a while. DVDs are my main viewing, when I borrow, or download. I like TV when I visit friends and hey have tuned into something foreign.

    Waste of Time

There are a few shows I watch with my husband out of habit. They are entertaining, but I always have the nagging feeling that I could be doing something productive. I could go the rest of my life without a TV and not regret it, as long as I could watch movies.

    Boring

Honestly I find most of the shows on tv these days quite boring and repetitive. There are a few exceptions but even the shows I really like get a bit old after a while. I would rather read a book than stare at a television so I can't really relate when people freak out about...

    I have a Netflix account,

which apart from sports and the odd repeat of The Bill, I tend to watch TV on there, even then it's maybe two hours towards the end of the day. Unless I'm in binge mode of course, like I was whilst watching Breaking Bad. I read much more nowadays. TV bores me more often than...

It seems like the only time I watch TV is at

other peoples houses. At home I never turn it on. I started watching DWTS but even then it was on YouTube. I really could just get rid of my TV all together and it wouldn't make a difference. I forgot .... there is a show I will watch but I watch it on Hulu and that is Married...

Hardly ever, I haven't had cable in over 5 years

either haha on purpose my choice, to make sure my kids were focusing on school work every day instead of TV. I watch the occasional movie with my kids, but no TV. I do miss watching the news or certain shows but I just deal haha

    Boring

I have always found most of TV to be boring.  I gave myself some quidelines way back and have stuck with them more often than not.  Any show that uses a laugh track I will not watch.  I will not wrap my life around a TV show.  I have broken this rule twice...

    It's Too Easy

It's too easy to just switch the TV on and then drift from one programme to another and before you know it life was what happened while you were busy watching TV.  When I think of all the things I want to do in my spare time, watching TV comes pretty far down the list. ...
