    Recomendations?

I love wine, and am always looking for recomendations. I've always been a fan of dry wines, with red being my favourite. Any recomendations? Please realize I can't afford $30 bottles, as I'm a college student.

    White Wine.

I haven't had much time to truely explore all the differences of wine. But from what I've had, I find that I like white wine much better. I can drink it around friends and not get all 'cuddle-ie' with them. I think, however, that  I might explore more of these differences in...

for $2.95 where else can you get a good hearty buzz aside from Wal Mart and their Oak Leaf brand (I understand it's actually a major winery who has excess capacity)

    Rioja Lover

The prices of my favorite California, French and Italian reds went silly. Then I went to a lovely Tapas bar and re0-discovered Riojas, but there seems to be a huge explosion of varieties and vineyards on the shelves, and they are so good, and priced so much better than others...

    Tonight...

Tonight I'm drinking a 2005 Pope Valley Merlot. It's not bad, a bit high tannis. 2005 might be a bit early. It's really cheap at Trader Joes.

    Down In The Cellar

Oh not really, lol. I certainly am not the great connoisseur of wines. In fact, I can't think of any wine I can drink "straight" except for champagne or a sparkling burgundy. Can't even remember the last time I had some sparkling burgundy. Has to be 15 or 20 years ago...

I Had a Lovely White Last Night.

More tempted by white wine, but red is cool too. Like I've said before, my current poison is Kumala whites and reds from Jumilla.
