    Dance Like the Old Days

Do you remember this dance? It is muscle memory, mystic inscriptions in the empty air. It is the ballet of ultimate economy. The body's core is tempered steel, the limb's movements are compact and orderly with the faintest touch of flair. It is a zen art of serene...

    Control !!

I'm not actually a control freak , really . However , i do feel much more in control of my own vehicle hence , my life on the road by controlling what gear I happen to be driving in . I'm a little worried that my clutch may be wearing out and need to be replaced soon . I love...

Not As Much As I'd Like

I'm presently driving a Toyota, largely cause I got it for a very good price.  It gets great mileage, really low maintenance costs and is altogether a very reliable car.  I just wish it was a stick shift. So, whenever I'm in the mood for a...

    Anything Else Doesn't Compare!

Well I live in Britain, and the majority of cars here are manual transmission - stick shift :P. I've been driving for 2 years now and I love it so very much. I drive a Ford Fiesta and gain so much pleasure from the driving process. I love cruising and country road driving...

Learnt to drive it last few years

and now am comfortable with it. With the ability to control my speed and jumpstart my speed with the gears - I like this sport - better than the automatic. India - driving is on the left side, and it is right hand drive.

    I drive a stick shift

because doing so is real driving. Not just riding but actually becoming one with the machine and controlling every aspect of it. That is stick shift driving. That is real driving.

    First Time

I'm still learning and improving, but it's sooo much more fun than auto! The car I first learned on was a 1974 MGB, and I then proceeded to drive a 59 Edsel, a 1948 Davis, a 37 Oldsmobile, a 35(?) Ford Deluxe Coupe, a 66 Mustang convertible (with the 289), and (disappointingly) a...

    It's Very Common Here

Most of the cars here in Brazil are stick shift. Even the most expensive ones. Now I drive a Ford Fusion, and it is imported from Mexico, I guess, and It's automatic. But only because it is imported. Here we take our driver's license with stick shift cars. It's not very nice...

I drive a little black two door Honda Civic with a spoiler on the back.  There is still one hill in this city that I avoid because I don't trust myself to get going again if I have to stop half way up.
