Comfortably, I wouldn't call it college more

like cosmetology school, but I'm upset at myself for even going honestly the only reason I went was because the lady made it sound all good and at the moment I just wanted to feel like I was doing something in life and going to be something I had just Graduated high school.. I...

Hey guys my name is Jason.

I dropped out of college my freshman year due to financial issues. My mom was sick and my dad wasn't around. Although I made it out fine and I'm doing well for myself I've always wondered what could I have done with a degree. On a recent trip to Kroger I met this young black boy...

    With one semester left.

.. Because class /roommates gf stress just became too much. I went from loving life, making tons of cash, living the American collegiate dream to back home in my twin size bed. In bed by 12, spending all that money.. It's been 3 weeks, and I think I made a mistake.

    And I'd Do It Again!

I've dropped out of college not once, not thrice, but twice. I was called a fool for my decision, and am still pestered by well-meaning relatives. What made dropping out seem especially stoopid is the fact that I didn't have to pay a dime for my education. My parents are...

    College Doesn't Equal Knowledge

College doesn't equal knowledge. I just learned this a few weeks ago. My entire life, I've been indoctrinated with the notion that succeeding in school is the only way to live a happy life. As time went on and as I was brainwashed by my teachers and parents, I transitioned from...

I never really liked school, but I like learning, it just seems hard to find the time. When I first started going to college in 2006, I was taking basic courses just because I didn't know what I wanted to do. And now, seven years and a variety of worthless classes later, I still...

If school ever comes up in conversation and I mention that I dropped out of college, I get the typical, "Oh, I am sorry, what are you going to do with your life now?" As if everyone MUST have a college degree to be successful. I guess no one really pays any attention to some well...
