Away from the constant consumption by the

consumer. The unhappiness of the retail workers that spread their unhappy energy. Away from the lack of humor and happiness. To my home where there is freedom to show emotions and do as I wish. Instead of being a pleasing servant to others, I can please myself. I can read, write...

I adore my own time, me time.

I used to get that by having a bath. My new house fails me and having me time in the bath is more like torture. I enjoy my own company and I miss it. Not as much as I had but when that was my world that's how I lived and grew up to be. Kind of sad...

Sonetimes i just walk alone in the park

or maybe i sit on a bench and just gaze at the sky and think about random things. I mostly do it for 1 hour when ever i get time for myself

My alone time is vital to my day.

...I wake up every morning at 4:00am- do about an hour of yoga, drink my coffee... Just sit on my front porch sometimes and enjoy the quiet. My family wakes up at 6:00am, so I have plenty of me time. And, no time away from my kids and husband. I'm a bit of a grouch without it...

I am comfortable spending time alone.

This doesn't mean that I can't enjoy time with others but sometimes I can do things easier without having to divide my attention. For example, I am sadly addicted to Minecraft. I can sit and play for hours on end if given the chance. Which is why I hate love the game so. I can...

I have two kids now and I would never change

that for anything. I love them more than anything. Con- I have NO alone time anymore. I AM a loner. I'm pretty antisocial and I stick to the people I know and don't go looking for new people to recruit as "friends". I've played guitar since I was 8 and am 34 now and it has been...

    I'm not a good friend.

People are constantly disappointed in me. I don't dislike people, I just can't give a lot. So I end up alone almost all the time.

Sometimes being by myself is all I need.

Whether it's just to think to myself or to just get away from people. Especially when I'm listening to music, I much rather be alone then.

    A Spiritual Experience

A broom with a bucket in hand: it's time to have a spiritual experience. Cleaning is more than a physical work.  Do you remember the last time you have washed a pile of dishes. The day  you were alone, you turned the music on and finally faced the pile of dirty dishes...

I can nap, read, watch what I want, sing and dance to whatever I want. It's relaxing. People sometimes stress me out so its good to get away from everyone and just focus on myself

For me, alone time is pretty limited

but when the opportunity arises I will often grab a guitar and play for a couple of hours...the time always seems to go by quickly. Sometimes those therapeutic moments feel so fleeting....every little bit helps :-)

I enjoy my private alone time

when living with roommates. The more I avoid my roommates, the better I perform as self. The more in contact I get, more I loose out on my social media as EP project or otherwise. Its a simple formula, anti social with roomies & maximum social outside equals well balanced living...
