    The Quiet Can Be Deafening!

Ever notice how the quiet of nature can in fact be deafening?  Th middle of the Forest where no sound of man can penetrate but just listen to nature!  Birds, bees, animals insects.  How loud! I love to sit beneath the canopy of an enormous tree and just look up...

    Don't Get Enough..

Totally enjoy most aspects of nature but don't get enough of it. Somehow taking a hike doesn't happen as much as I wish. The water on the other hand is so soothing. I'm not near the ocean but the Great Lakes do wonders for me. I've lived near them my whole life. Time doesn't...

    Being In The Nature...

For me, being in the nature is the most beautiful thing ever. Nature is wonderful, and it shall not be destroyed by human beings.

I enjoy the peace and quiet of nature with no judgement or condemnation. It's ok to just be yourself and who you are.

    It Brings Me Peace.......

I can't really describe it any better than that. It just feels me with light & brings me peace. I feel innocent & free when I sit against an old tree. While I talk to the animals & share my burdens with the clouds. It's all a part of me. I love to make the brooks...

    Took a Drive...

Took a drive to the coast this weekend.  Business trip that had a nice element of pleasure.  That salt air has a way of melting some of the stress and lifting the mood.  Listening to the sounds of the waves while drifting off to sleep is absolutely out of this...

Not So Much Trees and Stuff...

Not so much trees and stuff but I have this love affair with the ocean. When I was in the Navy, in the middle of night, I would be up late on watch duty, or out on deck singing to a friends guitar. Once in awhile you could catch a glimpse of a playful dolphin darting back and...

A friend of mine rehabilitates wild animals an

if possible releases them back into the wild. Yesterday she called me and asked me to go and look at the river where she rescued a swan from, and see if it was free of ice enough for it to be released. I drove down the muddy lane and came to the dead end where the road meets...

We are all a part of nature. That is why it is great. There are many wonders to be beheld out there. Just go for a short walk in the woods or an open field. It won't take long to find something really cool. Try it!

On a Small Scale That Is !

I am afraid of wooded area's.   I wouldn't enjoy being out on a boat to far from land.    And I  don't  really mind my summer time chore that has become exclusively mine.   Cleaning poo from Tigers alley. It's  a space...

    The Wind.

The leaves hit the ground, and the air has a crisp formality as it washes across the earth. The temperature is perfect, the wisps of hair blow across my face in a forlorn fashion, We're all searching for something. The struggle we face through the winter to bask in accomplishment...

    Come Alive.

I've lived in a very sparsely populated area for most of my life and while I was never greatly impressed with the view of the region's natural environment, I've grown to appreciate it for what it is and instead of wanting waterfalls, mountains, pine and evergreen trees... I came...
