All kinds of stuff, Tolstoy's Anna Karenin is a favourite but also Chekov and Solzhenitzyn, can be heavy going though. Dostoyevsky is good too, Crime and Punishment is a great psychological novel.

    Aleksandr Sereyevich Pushkin

Regarded as the founder of Russian literature, novelist playwright, short-story writer and poet.   I have been intrigued by his poetry, which I have discovered to be skilfully constructed, yet simple and beautiful - there lies the beauty in his poetry.
