The cornerstone of my program is that

I mentioned elsewhere how I swim almost every

day. I also like to go into the gym, and workout on the machines, you know the life cycle, cross trainer and treadmill. There are some big guys who workout there too, very muscular, very shapely too. I like to see them, and there are occasions I've mixed in and trained with...

    Love The Feeling

I am hooked on working out. Great stress relief and I like to challenge and push my body. Working out once you get started can be addicting. Now if I miss a workout I get anxious and grumpy. I guess there are worse things to be addicted to.

    Most days I work out.

I get up early and get myself ready for the gym, going along to complete a yoga class, do weights, Pilates, dance or get on a static bike for a number of hours each time. I always wear what my Mum calls 'gym knickers' with a tee shirt, of a support bra, or s cropped top. My...

    Working out is great.

It makes you healthier and stronger, it increases your metabolism so you can eat more, and it gives you a mild sort of high. I did the hardest workout I've ever done today, and it showed me that I'm finally seeing results from working out. I was able to go harder and longer than...

Wow... just wow, I cannot describe this

sensation! This sense of pain and accomplishment! I finally broke my limitations today! I was bound on 25 pounds for curling (bicep) when a few weeks ago I attempted 30's and reached my max. Then today I broke my limits yet again with 35's. I feel and see that I am getting...

I guess it's not so much the working out part,

but more of the feeling I have when I'm finished and of course the results as well. I work out hard, both cardio and weight training. I like having a well tuned and toned body.

I actually don't enjoy working out.

.. at all. I just thought I'd share this here to get reactions from people with a different mindset. I used to run regularly, but it just became boring, even with music or other forms of entertainment depending on the setting (gym, home, outdoors). It also became harder to find...

Well cycling season came to an quick end early

this December. It got cold and snowy up here.  Now I am a firm believer in an off season, some time off the bike and way from the grind.  A time to recharge the batteries, and I think 3 weeks cold turkey is about it.  So base Building begins Monday, nothing to serious...

But I hate routine and I lose interest in

slower things like yoga after about two weeks. I need a work out partner to make it more stimulating. I like structured stuff like challenges, I can stick to on my own... Idk it's weird haha but I love the feeling, like I'm accomplishing something and getting healthier.
