    I Sound Like a Child

although i'm not complaining. when telemarketers ask to speak to my mom or dad, i simply say they're not home...and i refuse to be the voice of the answering machine message. i sound like a freakin 8 yr old. but hey, apparently i sound cute.....

I don't like talking on the phone because you can't see theother person's expression. They could be rolling their eyes or mouthing "I hate her, she's so annoying" to their sister or mom or whatever who's in the room with them. Also, I think people sound so much different on the...

    Always Awkward...

I find that talking on the phone almost exclusively ends up being awkward. There seems to be this unwritten rule that you can't say everything you want to all at once, and if you want to talk you first have to interrupt the person on the other side of the line by stuttering until...

    Sooo Awkward!

I don't like talking on the phone because sometimes you both wanna say something and you happen to say it at the same time and then both of you are like "Wait, what?" and things get messy and so awkward and then you run out of things to say and it's hard to just say...

I Don't Do Much Phone Talking.

The only people I am truely comfortable talking to on the phone are my mom, my boyfriend, and my friend John (not so much him anymore).  Other than that, I hate it.  I hate it the most when I am going to be talking to someone for the very first time. ...

    Don't Do It Well

I always feel awkward on the phone, especially when I'm the one making the call. First, I'm paranoid that I'm calling at the wrong time and bothering the other person. Then I stumble over my words when I try to get to my point. And the lack of facial expressions and body language...

    Always Have

I rely heavily on body language when I communicate; just listening to someone's words it's really hard for me to fully grasp what they're saying.  Obviously, on the phone I don't have any of those visual cues as to what the other person means. It's really awkward.
