    I volunteered at a hospital

before I applied to university. It was so eye opening. It's what made me choose nursing. I got to see people at the end of their life and spend time with them in their last days, and I got the opportunity to stick around and experience the excitement of new life and families...

    I absolutely feel great

when helping the less fortunate folks or people in general. What goes around will come around to your door step. I have been so blessed beyond belief. Try it and see if it does not work for you too.
