I Feel I've Missed Out On Life Experiences

    I hate being shy. It's a terrible.

I've missed out on so much because of it. I've missed out on friends, and other social things. But part of my loss is not my fault at all. My dad isn't around much and he never lets me travel. We just sit at home doing nothing, and I end up wanting to kill myself (for other...

I really wish I did more growing up.

. I was so shy and wasn't all that great with social situations. I didn't do a lot with kids at school. Especially in highschool...I didn't go to prom... I hardly went to parties... I was always afraid to just let go and enjoy life. I always hid my true self away from everyone...

Because my life took the wrong turn along the

way. Wasted my time rebelling against the consequences of my disorder. I took a self destructive path because I hated myself and deserved to go through the torture. I took me a long time to accept myself for who I am and to love myself and to even respect myself. I don't dwell...

I'm almost 22 and feel like I barely lived

except work and study. I have no real friends and feel my self confidence has let me miss out on experiences. Sometimes I think when I'm old, I won't have any great life experiences to remember. I want to enjoy life more.

Sometimes I regret always needing to be in

control, be so good and perfect, always working so hard. It hasn't gotten me any closer to my dreams, and keeps me one step removed from actually experiencing life maybe

    And It Leaves Me Wondering...

I don't really feel lacking in my childhood.  Growing up, my family wasn't the richest on the block for sure, but I was mostly happy.  I may not have had the best clothes or the newest toy as soon as it was released, but I was ok with it.  My missing out comes...

    It's My Own Fault

I have missed life experiences because I wouldn't allow myself. For example, I didn't go to a friends Halloween party one year because I was feeling very insecure; I just made up an excuse not to go. Now they all discuss the memories and inside jokes from that party. I ...

I look at Facebook at times

and think I'm missing out. It can seem like everybody else is out there having wonderful, fulfilled lives while I'm missing out. It's partly because I'm single and most people on mine are married. And I realize being married doesn't guarantee having wonderful times.
