I am very lucky to be alive.

Have you ever been happy you had a flat tier? Well I was on May 25th, 1979 on my way to the airport, and I missed my flight. It was American Airlines flight 191, it crashed, at the time the worst crash in America http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Airlines_Flight_191

An awesome man in our school system

and community passed away from a heart attack recently and I just received that news. As I'm taking it all in, this experience comes up as the experience of the day so I felt it was only right to click it and share the rollercoaster of thoughts that are flying around my head...

    Think About Itnite

Of all the places in the galaxy, of all the matter, I formed. Of all the species in the world, my matter formed me as a human. Of all the *****, mine was the one to reach the egg. From that, I was lucky enough to develop fully, and be born healthy- I have healthy, sturdy...

    River Rafting

I was up in the mountains with my dad and some friends and it was really hot out so we all decided to go river rafting. Our friends always went river rafting down the river so we didn't think of it as dangerous. We were river rafting for a few hours and there was plenty of...

    Stop Complaining

If you have food, clothes and a home, you’re richer than 75% of this world. If you have sum of money in the bank, you're among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. If you woke up healthy this morning, you are more blessed that one million who will not survive this week. if...

    It's Good To Be Alive

I know in my heart of hearts and  my soul of souls that God made me for a reason I may not know the reason but after playing Russian roulette with my life so many times and my truck accident at the age of 15 I know there's somebody up there that loves me and it is not time for...

So my day started with some unhealthy anger

and negative thoughts. But then out of the woodworks some people shared some kind words. I shared some laughs with a coworker, I texted with a distant friend, and I actually got a lot of work done today! I feel at peace, and as my eyes are getting heavy I'm looking forward to...

When I was eight i was swimming with my aunt

and her friend. We had been swimming ALL day it was about 4:00. I didn't think anything of it because I was young. But when you swim for that long you get really tired. I was playing with one i those floating beds. I soon found my muscles were tired and cramped. I was in twelve...

    Just watching the stars,

I think it's amazing! How small we are and the things we fight and worry about are so small .. I mean we're all human. Why can't we all help each other right??

I have come very close to death on several

occasions in my life, so I am either really lucky or my guardian angel is a superhero. The first time I was just a wee fetus still in the womb. My mother had tried to OD on sleeping pill, and was at the hospital getting her stomach pumped when she received the happy news.. she...

4 weeks ago there was a fire in a electrical

cupboard in a above floor flat in the building I live in and luckily I was out on a night out with a friend, no one died but everyone was extremely lucky to make it out of there! I read in a paper yesterday that a young family died in a similar fire at their flat! I feel deeply...

My parents love me. And my sister.

And my fiancée, actually. So, my parents and I had a chat tonight. A big one. Only lasted one hour, but it was big. Dad basically asked me if I was alright in myself. From an innocent enough start point, and I was about to go to bed feeling that little bit glummer at the...

Last year I was diagnosed with Primary

Mediastinal Large B-Cell Lymphoma, a type of cancer. Three months of aggressive chemotherapy wiped it out taking my luscious locks and menstrual cycle with it. Maybe I'll never have kids, but hey, here I am.

    About three years ago.

I am to this day a competitive snowboarder. One night around 10 I was going down the hardest slope on the mountain training for an upcoming race. Sadly I hit a slick of ice, fell down, blacked out, then proceeded so slide off the trail into a small ravine. I hit trees and...

Everyday, I hate when people complain about

issues that aren't actually of any significance. Oh, your boyfriend of one hour broke up with you? Your parents are now making you take out the trash once a week? To the people who complain about the little things that don't matter... GET OVER YOURSELVES! Everyday you wake up...

Looking in the mirror I always had a huge scar

on my right side of my face. I never knew a day when I didn't see it and I can't imagine my face without it. I got it in a car crash when I was 6 months old. Everyone thought I died cause I was cover in blood and it was coming from my head. My aunt told me she thought my eyes...

Lately our generation has been taking

for granted all the small details in life.. We look down at our phones instead of looking around. I want to take a moment of your day to say stop. Stop worrying about work or drama, just focus on each individual detail in your everyday life. Try to set down your phone every once...
