    Awesome Yet Creepy

Good thing in Google map you can only see the roof of our house. I believe in 20 years Google map's will have a new program that can actually see through the roof and see the composition of the house. Gosh, that will be so creepy, especially if they abuse that type of technology...

    I Use It Constantly

I am into cycling big time and I am always looking for new rides and routes.  I use Google maps and Google Earth constantly.   I need to know the streets that connect or the distance between points or places to stop for a drink and food.  Since I leave from...

    Way Cool!

I did this months ago. And it was awesome. I never noticed how crowded my city was, until I saw it on the maps! And my neighborhood... it looks like it's overcrowded with houses and buildings! =p I had shared this with my best friends, Philip and Sharon, as they will visit...

My oldest son is totally into Google.  He swears by g mail and shut most of his other email accounts down.  He thinks google chrome is the way to go.  He has been playing with google satellite forever it seems.  So we were sitting around the computer one...

    Mine's Way Outdated

I've lived here since January 2005, and it still shows the previous people's car in the driveway.

Well I Tried to Find It

It seems that my home is too far out and can't be located on Google Maps.  The closest home that was on there is about six miles away from me.

    It Was So Cool

My daughter called me and told me to do this.  The more I zoomed in and got a look at the picture of my house; my dogs were even in the yard.  It was fun to see.

    It Was Cool.

It was cool because I could see my house and where my room sticks out to the side and all.  I always go on virtual vacations on there.

My friend sent me an email yesterday with a pic attached.  She was freaked out thinking that satellites are following us.  I have a wide range of friends, not all of which are computer literate or savvy.  The pic is in front of her house from google maps.  It...

I just found two of my old houses

after looking at a ton of neighborhoods and looking for the right street patterns just because I couldn't remember the addresses. It's weird though because in the second house I lived in, it was very spacious for four people and my family drifted apart, causing my parents...

My House, But Not My Flat

My flat wasn't built when they photographed the area, it's only been around the last 4 years. So it's still a car park when I look at it on google earth.   My house strange because it was taken on a bright sunny day and all you can see is glare from the garden slabs and...

    I Love Google Earth

My house was easy to find, and, also, in the photo of my neighborhood, I'm pretty sure that I can see my car on a nearby access street, on its way home. I have spent time on Google Earth exploring the Grand Canyon, and searching Sydney Harbor for the Sydney Opera house (I found...

Not the house I currently live in though. My old house. It was nothing special, but I live there from 1998 to 2008, from my 6th to my 16th birthday, so it meant something to me anyway.

    I Totally Got Into It

I went into the virtual street thingy and went for a walk through my childhood neighborhoods.  I got so sucked into it I got temporary amnesia for my current life.

    I Did, I Did!!

...But it was the wrong house.  For some reason, it showed a neighbor's house... and when I scooted it over, it was a VERY old pic of our house.
