    Something Weird About Me...

Ever since I can remember, as soon as wind picks up, i start to get excited and a little hyperactive. Mum thinks it's funny, because she says horses react the same to windy weather. I don't know why it has this effect on me. It's really bizarre. But no matter...

    Hurricane Sandy

Okay not the most exciting topic (to some people), but where I live, Hurricane Sandy is right on top of us. Were not as bad as the other people closer to the ocean, but still. I'm pretty sure the powers gunna go out any time now, so I'm trying to use my electronics as much as...

    Small Surprise!

I didn't know it was supposed to be windy out today! I had a bunch of things to do that kept me inside, and only late in the day did I even get near a window, to see trees moving around! They don't even have leaves on yet, so that's a very good sign! I threw together a couple of...

    Blown Away...

Some of my greatest and favorite memories include the wind. The wind blowing the waves of my hair in directions I cannot keep track of, or the feeling of knowing my hair might just happening to resemble that of a wild lion once I turn to walk away. Or that strong atrocious wind...

    Winter Storms

We've been having a few lately. Today, I finally got some things right! T-shirt under silk shirt, only two buttons done, around my waist. The T-shirt has a low V-neck, so I wore my favorite huge silk scarf. First, I just had it draped around my neck, inside the neck of my shirt...

I Think the People Who Think I'm Odd, Are Odd.

I always find windy days exciting, exhilarating, uplifting; it's just hard to feel down on a windy day.  I think it's part of my love of storms in general.  I'm used to my family, and most of my friends, feeling the same way, but now that I have moved out west to Las...

    Why Do You Go Out?

I've said before that I don't have many direct experiences of going out in strong wind. So now I'm looking for excuses to change that. What good reasons have you come up with to be out on windy days? I don't live in a big city, and pedestrians get stared at in this area...

    I Need Suggestions!

It is pretty windy out today, for my area. 15-25mph with gusts up to 40. But I live in suburbia, essentially. Pedestrians get stared at. The one area near me that was relatively open is now getting covered in houses. I went out and ran as many errands as I could make up today...

Hi! New here, so a short introduction.

Ever since I was a little kid I enjoyed being out on a windy day. It all started when I was like 12 years old, then I started wearing lose clothes so the wind can play with them. Enjoyed how the wind was flapping my pants, jackets and every time it got windy, I just went outside...

I really don't remember my first experience of wind. i remember the first time i knew i liked it. i was watching sesame street, pretty sure, something about the weather, and the sun had some kind of floppy bow tie as a prop to show when the wind was blowing and i really liked...

    Wind, the Herald of Change

During the winters of my college experience in upstate New York, there were clear days when the wind blew across the snow-covered fields of North Campus, straight through my AirĀ Force surplus parka, the wool sweater and thermals, and whistled between my poor Arizona-raised...
