I hate it when people say they have migraines

sometimes. Migraine scenario People: "ooh i have a migraine" *takes a pain killer and it goes away* Me: *has a steadily increasingly more painful headache and starts to cry which makes it worse, takes special painkillers, it doesn't go away, i wear sunglasses turn off all the...

I have a genetic link to getting migraines,

from my grandfather, to my mother, to me, to 3 of my 4 children and now on to my oldest grandson who is 13. From my mother's day it was to just go lay in a dark, quiet room with ice packs on your neck until they went away. My treatment started out that way when I was about 18...

I have experienced migraines since I was about 9 or so. I don't think anyone, including doctors, took it seriously at all until I had a stroke at a young age. I was hoping to find a group for stroke survivors, but it doesn't look like it. I don't even see an option to create one...

It's a nightmare with brittle bones disease.

Any headache or bump on my head results in me having to get x rays and MRI scans to see if its a fracture. It's one of the most dangerous results of my disease and could easily result in brain damage
