I Get Sad When the Fun Is Over

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 249 People

With me it's like if I'm having a genuinely good time, soon after it's over I start to feel bad, but I can't place why. I usually have no problems with things coming to an end when they do, so I don't know where to place the origins of why I sometimes feel terribly after a fun...

    It's Horrible..

Yeah I never go anywhere really so the few times I do get invited to things and I actually end up going to them I am so happy.. The time just ends up going so quickly and before I know it, it's time to go home. I hate it. I get so depressed afterwards. I wish I went out more...

I Enjoy Them, So Why So Little Of Them?

I'll spend an entire day with my friends just laughing so hard. We have such wonderful experiences, and yet they are so few. They are so rare, so I get terribly sad when they are over...Does it make me regret having those moments? Definitely not.

I Hate When You're Having A Good Day & Then It Ends.

I always feel this way after every birthday, every one of my choir concerts, at the end of every vacation or every time I do something fun and it ends. This school year, I had the most amazing world geography teacher and her class was super fun and I had lots of friends in there...

    Replaying the Memories

My problem is, I don't get out nearly enough, so when the fun's all over, I get kind of down knowing I probably won't do anything like that again in a fair while... which really does suck. It makes me bitter of others as well. Because I think that they probably have plenty of...

    Who Doesn't?

Of course. If there's nothing to look forward to. No fun, laughter, excitement, anything... what's the point? It makes me very sad, nothing to wait for. :P

    The Tell-tale Heart

TRUE!-NERVOUS--very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am! but why will you say that I am mad? The disease had sharpened my senses--not destroyed--not dulled them. Above all was the sense of hearing acute. I heard all things in the heaven and in the earth. I heard many...
