I Will Still Get Up As I Will Still Fall

You know, they say that the strong ones aren't those who never fall, the just might be lucky to not to fall. But really, the strong ones are those who get up even when knowing they migh just fall again.

I'm clumsy, and don't have depth perception to speak of.  This has led me to walk into all kinds of things... at one point I really DID black my eye by walking into a door!I don't mind the physical stuff.  It's easy to get my azz up off the floor when I wipe out.  Even if I...

    Stubborn, But Also Tenacious

I don't know if I can call this courage. I'm strong-willed, with the bad side, stubborn, but also the good side, tenacious. I don't give up easily if I think it's worth it. I took a gerat deal of slaps in my life, in every area, job, personal, frienship, family. Sometimes it's...

I Guess Things Happen For a Reason...

I guess things happen for a reason but I wish I knew what it the reason is right now, but that is never the case.  We always have to sit back and wait and see what the true reason is.  We can jump the gun and guess, but that only adds to the confusion.  In the last...

They Wait For Me to Fail

I guess it isn't unexpected that my family is constantly expecting me to fail. I dropped out of college when I was nineteen. Moved home. Was in one relationship after another. Went from one job to another. Yet now it is in expectation. They think I'll quit school again, when it's...

Of Course I Get Up When I Fall!

otherwise i'd be lying down right now, and missing out on a lot. (in the most literal sense.) i think it's really important to get up again. it's like, a thing i learnt when riding a horse that you apply every day to various situations! :)

    What Else

If I didn't get up after I fell then all I could do is just lay there.  That doesn't seem to be the best choice.  Besides, who wants to be steped on and walked over?  Getting up means trying again and moving.  I think that is better.  Don't you?

for some people getting up after falling is a challenge... and I mean literally falling... as in falling from the stairs, tripping, etc. some people get confused, if they should cry, if  they should get up like nothing happened, or just stay there until somebody helps them...

Not A Bad Thing To Happen To A Person

Getting knocked down is a good thing.  Falling down is a good thing.  Getting back up is a reviving experience.  I learn more about myself every time I slip and don't fall, slip and fall face first, or even get knocked down.  It's one of the best teaching...

I Get Knocked Down, But I Get Up Again, You Aint Never Gunna Keep Me Down...

I don't know how and I don't know why. I get up just to be knocked back down, but somehow I keep getting back up again anyways. Maybe too much of a fighter to quit, even though sometimes I really wish I could quit.

    The Survivor Type

I read a short story by Stephen King a long time ago call The Survivor Type.  It  a pretty gruesome story, like most of King's , about a doctor on a deserted island.  The question is how bad do you want to survive, and I will pick my self up after I fall because I...
