Colleagues Get Used To See Me Going At Work Barefoot

I feel sorry for people who have to wear dark suits and ties at work. Unfortunately, this is common in banks, law firms, government agencies and offices. I also work in an office, but it's part of an archive and less frequented by visitors. So my colleagues and I are in the happy...

    All In A Days Work

I work in an office, so I can get away with it. We technically have a dress code, so I only show up in jeans every other week on our Casual Day. But I walk around the office barefoot all day long and nobody gives a ****. Every once in a while, my boss or one of my co-workers...

    I work at my mom's ice-cream parlor

and I'm always barefoot behind the counter. I keep a pair of flip-flops with me for when I have to go out into the seating area. The floor is tiled, and it it feels great under bare feet.

    Barefoot In The Office

I've been going barefoot in the office for about 8 years now. It took me a long time to get the courage to do it. but no-one seems to mind. There are some people at work who have never seen me wearing shoes. On the very few occasions where I have worn shoes, I try to that...

at work, though sometimes I have gone in my flip flops. Now I have a broken leg and I'm on crutches with my leg in plaster. I'm going to go back for a few hours a day while I'm still in the cast and using the crutches. I've been hopping around everywhere barefoot since I broke...

My job is working at sea on the bridge of a

supply vessel for gas rigs. When on deck you must wear safety boots but in the accommodation you can wear what you like. Usually I wore sandles as they keep your feet reasonably exposed, but about a year ago I just kicked the sandles off and started walking around barefoot. At...

I'm a Paramedic and work in a Fire Station. After 1800 (6 pm) we're allowed to change out of our Class B uniforms and wear t-shirts and shorts. Most of the guys wear sneakers and sock or flip-flops but I go barefoot. One night, I was asleep in my room when a firefighter woke me...

I am the owner of a small business in southern Texas. When the weather cooperates, which is pretty much the whole year, I don't bother putting on shoes for work. Just one of the many advantages of being the boss.
