    Another Barefoot Winter Coming

I have been talking to my doctor about the problem with my injured left foot and there is no fast fix. The result is I will have to go through the coming autumn and winter in bare feet. Rain, mud and snow are all going to have to be faced with bare feet and more than likely...

Fresh snow feels so good to walk on barefoot!

I love the way it is so soft under my feet and gently crunches as i step on it. At first it felt like it was leeching all the warmth out of my body but then my feet got used to it and weren't that cold. Sadly, where i live it doesn't snow much and the ground just ices over :(

    Barefoot Everywhere, Including The Snow.

I love going barefoot. I hate shoes and will go barefoot anyplace I can. I tried going barefoot in the snow once just to see what it felt like. It was cold of course just like anyone would expect, but it was so soft, like walking in cotton or something. It's too cold to walk...

    Unexpectedly Barefoot In The Snow

It had been snowing and my girlfriend wanted me to pick her up from work as it had been snowing so she didn't want to wait for the bus. I was still under doctors orders not to wear a shirt while I was on crutches to stop them rubbing my sides and I don't normally wear shoes so I...

    Barefoot On The Farm

Due to an ongoing injury, I am forced to get around everywhere on crutches and I can't get shoes on at all. Flip flops are almost possible but uncomfortable so I only use them when it is totally impossible to walk on something with my bare feet. Last weekend I went to a friend's...

The Wounderful Discomfort Of Being Barefoot In Winter

If winter is long and very cold, shoes are useful, but this doesn't apply to light frost and even milder temperatures. Then I really enjoy being barefoot on the road. It's not really comfortable, but it feels good to endure the inconvenience of walking barefoot in the cold. The...

    Winter wasn't very cold here,

frost only in 3 or 4 weeks, so I had plenty of occasion to walk barefoot outdoors even in this season. Once I already was a year round barefooter, when I started my barefoot lifestyle c. 25 years ago. Then I had to find a place in life with job and family and it seemed better to...

I love walking my dogs in the predawn calmness

after a night of snowfall. Its a bit of a thrill as I look back to see my barefoot prints alongside the prints of my two dogs. We take a route through a parking lot, onto a path through a copse of oak trees still clinging to their leaves, across a meadow, and wind up climbing a...

    Love Going Barefoot

I have always loved going barefoot from the time that I was a child. I also had one engineering job for a few years where I could go to work barefoot. It was very nice. The entire engineering department went to work barefoot, which included several men and one female...
