Last Sunday I found myself at a different church. I usually go to the one next door to the library with the nutty priest who makes me laugh. But, my Nana ( who's recently moved to an area nearby) insisted we go to the one nearer her. So I agreed and of we went. Now, my normal...

    Sure Do

Yup I go to church just about every sunday. For me it is a stress release. And for a couple hours I can stop thinking about me and start thinking about the community abroad. It feels like taking a step back from the little box that I am living in and it allows me to see...

    Mass Has Changed Recently

About 2 years ago I changed churches for various reasons. I suppose one of those was because I preferred the priest at the new one. He had a joke about everything and he always encouraged us all to go out into the world with a smile and a candle for those who need it. He...

I was officially kicked out of church.

I go to church every Sunday morning. It's something my family did every Sunday morning without question when I was growing up. I'm not religious, but going to church was just something I was raised to do. Going to church is good for people. People who go to church regularly...

So growing up my grandparents always went to the same church. Then as I grew up I would go every now and then. Then I was 15 I met my boyfriend. He would ask me to go as much as I could. When I finally did, It turned out to be my grandparents church. So then...

Just finished another hectic, stress-filled semester at my (modestly) presumptuous college. Did I do well this time? No. Not really. Nothing compared to my performance in high school. Did I work my butt off and do the best I can? Yes. Did it pay off and am I satisfied with giving...

Church has been such a blessing in my life.

It wasn't until I strayed away from the church for a while that I noticed I really needed to be there to sustain my everyday life and live accordingly. I love God, I love Church but I really love my church family !!!

I feel a little lost when too much time passes and I haven't been to church. There's not an exact formula, but I know when I've missed too much. The other day I wound up taking a personal half-day from work and bursting into the church at one-thirty on Wednesday afternoon. I know...

The Apparent Gravitational Pull of Church... :

My church story is half-romantic, half depressing, and you really need to know my whole story for me not to look like a sap, but I guess this isn't the time to get to that. I was raised in the catholic church, and stayed relatively faithful to the religion for most of my life...
