Last Sunday I found myself at a different church. I usually go to the one next door to the library with the nutty priest who makes me laugh. But, my Nana ( who's recently moved to an area nearby) insisted we go to the one nearer her. So I agreed and of we went. Now, my normal...

Church has been such a blessing in my life.

It wasn't until I strayed away from the church for a while that I noticed I really needed to be there to sustain my everyday life and live accordingly. I love God, I love Church but I really love my church family !!!

    Mass Has Changed Recently

About 2 years ago I changed churches for various reasons. I suppose one of those was because I preferred the priest at the new one. He had a joke about everything and he always encouraged us all to go out into the world with a smile and a candle for those who need it. He...

Yup I go to church just about every sunday. For me it is a stress release. And for a couple hours I can stop thinking about me and start thinking about the community abroad. It feels like taking a step back from the little box that I am living in and it allows me to see...

    They Make Me

I spend around two months with my parents every year. The rest of the year, I'm overseas. My dad's an ordained priest. He doesn't know I gave up on religion a few years ago. So for about eight or nine weeks a year, I go to Bible study every Saturday, and Mass every Sunday...

I've never been to church I don't know anything

about it really, but I want to go..so I have a question,is it ok for me to go if I don't know anything about the religion? I don't want to seem rude just popping in...do I call first? Is there some kind of protocol?

I'm proud I go to church.

It's solemn and the whole family prays and gather strength afterwards. In this place I can cry and no one will think I'm crazy. He does listen, he will answer all your prayers in due time. Just learn to wait and accept what he plans for you.

    I didn't understand attending church

as a kid. It was boring to me and I was too young to understand most of what the preacher said. However, now I could not be more grateful for church. I have quite a few less than holy things that happen around me and I try to stay out of it but it's hard. Attending church is my...

The Apparent Gravitational Pull of Church... :

My church story is half-romantic, half depressing, and you really need to know my whole story for me not to look like a sap, but I guess this isn't the time to get to that. I was raised in the catholic church, and stayed relatively faithful to the religion for most of my life...
