It always seemed to come out of nowhere

and catch me by complete surprise. I don't remember it happening very often but I am sure they were deserved.

My mom did when I annoyed her.

My dad did cause he didn't know the situation fully, and when he did he didn't even apologize. My stupid uncle did when I told my mom that his wife called be a bi**h and he was listening in on the the other end of the phone, Cause my aunt actually did, she called me a witch too...

I got slapped, hit on the *** with a belt.

Discipline never done me no harm that's for sure. Taught me to be respectful - mindful of my actions. School was the same, rulers on the backs of your hands - books being hit on your head thou was stopped after a girl died from that.

    People Still Think It's Acceptable!

Look up the word concussion and then the next time you slap your child's face, ask yourself how many times you think their little brain can go slamming against the inside of their skull before inflicting permanent brain damage. If you think you are always in control of how hard...

I only got slapped in the face once,

aged around 7. As a child I was usually really well behaved and good, but if I got upset I'd change completely. My Grandma was angry at me for not doing what she wanted at once. I think we got into a fight because of a jacket I didn't want to wear. She started asking if I was...

Whenever id talk back my mother would just slap

me across the face. Last time she did that I was 13. Now she doesn't do it but if she ever does I wouldn't be surprised because I know I'd deserve it for being a **** child.

I got hit on more than just my face growing up.

More then my mom did this. My aunt even hit me with a hanger for not finding something she wanted. My mom hit me with a shoe because I didn't do something right. Nothing hurt worst than their words. I was good for nothing, slow, dumb, and a mistake. Maybe all of that is...

I do not like it but it is ok because I know she loves me and I deserve it then.

    Both my parents did it.

It was the equivalent of capital punishment to our home's parenting system. If I ****** up big time, I knew I had a couple of ***** slaps a' comin' my way. My mom's slaps were just irritating, they weren't physically painful, her hands are too small. But my dad's? Boy I dreaded...

before spanking me my dad will always slap my face hard few times until red.I can never cover my face and had to look up to my dad with my hands on the back. The slapping would always give me to tears until sometimes it would be blue black.

    Slapped For Every Curse Word

Hi I'm Cortney! Just thought I'd share my experience here: I would stay over at my aunt's place for at least a week sometime in the year, usually during the summer, when my mom is out on business. She's a very traditional, strict woman with no children of her own, so she tends...

My dad never hit me as a child,

my mum did many times, broke my things, threw my things in the bin, tried to put fairy liquid in my mouth (when I called her an alcoholic). I don't agree with laying your hands on a child, unless it's one of those rare cases where they endanger themselves, and I feel as a parent...
