I grew up on a dairy farm and had learned how to care for animals and all the responsibilities that come along with that.  I have so many funny memories during that time and it helped make me who I am today.  Although I would never do it again,  as an adult...LOL...

Growing up on a farm was great,

as a kid I could let my mind roam free and I could always entertain myself, as I got older I became for lack of a better term socially awkward. It gets pretty lonely living on a farm but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

    We Raised Horses.

So I guess it was so much of a 'farm', being that we only had one kinda animal.  When I was younger my mother gave me a sheep though.  That stupid thing used to torture me.  It used to find me wherever I was on the farm and just start head butting me like crazy...

when they first arrived in New Zealand around 1850. I was the fifth generation of my family to grow up on that farm. It was a wonderful childhood; I can't imagine any better way to grow up. I had a herd of angora goats as pets and hundreds of acres of space to explore. My...

    I remember being the kid

who would wake up at 6:00 am, and watch the beautiful sunrise in summer. You could hear the tractor, smell granny's biscuits, and run in the fields. At nights, you can hear the frogs singing their summer night lullaby.

We used to have a lot of fun on the farm. Sold fishing worms to the store in town, and went fishing at the creek. Used to pick the corn when it was little, and eat it raw. Sweetest corn I ever had until the new variety Peaches and Cream hit the stores. Used to pick apples off the...
