    Fresh Veggies On the Way

    Started a simple vege garden, just the easy to grow veges shuch as silverbeet, tomatoes, beans and some herbs. Can not wait to taste the yummy fresh produce from the garden.

    When preparing tomato seeds

    for storage last fall, I lost track of my cherry tomato seeds during fermentation. When I noticed them again, they had all germinated! Now I have two surviving plants keeping it real in my window. One has flowers! I'm excited to maybe have fresh cherry tomatoes in February...

    Love It

    Honestly, i don't know why more people don't grow their own vegies. I guess for some people time is an issue. I just love having my own vegie garden. It all tastes so yummy, it's right there, and iiiii grew it! It's just great.

    Fresh, Tasty And Cheap

    Ah  If only it were so, but my garden is in a hollow, and shaded.  The plants grow tall and leggy, tomatoes fail to ripen. This year I may have to try a different tack.So:The greenhouse is now on the garage roof.

    2013 A Better Year? One Days Harvest

    Bowlful of cherry tomatoes picked yesterday. For some reason the yellow ones are out producing the red, although they are supposed to be a 50/50 mix. Includes the first vine ripened plum tomato, beans, courgettes and a cucumber..
