Yeah this happened twice with two different

therapists. They are probably the reason I won't get any kind of help even tho I'm so suicidal. They made me feel like none of my problems were real. I think that's why I get extremely offensive about my feelings and I feel like no one takes me seriously. My second was the...

I went to a certain therapist,

the only one in town, three times over the course of two months. My dad had made appointments for me because, well, he walked in on me hurting myself and was worried about me. However, this woman did a lot more harm than good. She is a very religious woman, and that wouldn't...

Saw a therapist a while back

and she made me feel worse about myself. Also took many holiday breaks. Guess she made too much money to care about her clients.

10 years ago I went to a therapist recommended

to me that would take my insurance. I was suffering with some heavy grief after a beloved family member died unexpectantly. The therapist helped me deal with my loss, but when I decided to stay on to deal with some of the other major issues I was having I didn't feel like I was...

Its My Opinon That Many Therapists Are Not Apt Enough To Handle Real Issues

child sexual abuse is a specialised area.. and it requires someone who has a great deal of stability and integrity to listen and help the client find the key to unravelling and solving their own lives it requires someone with an understanding of the laws on child sexual abuse in...

I told my most recent therapist

that I was hearing voices and he told me it was and entity and performed an exorcism on me. I had never been so uncomfortable in my life and I stopped going to him immediately.

I've had a couple of bad experiences with many

therapists, starting at 16. None were too horrendous, but one of them cursed me out and put me on an anti-depressant for an eating disorder (which he LIED to me about by saying it would make me lose weight... that's not a good approach for someone with an eating disorder, nor is...

Has anyone else had a therapist

who doesn't do her job? This was my very first therapist. Nearly everyday I came, she would eat the whole time, never write down what I would say, and shed even silence me. She was very up in age as well. I have a different therapist now that I got a few weeks after the first...

    I hate when a well-meaning person suggests I go

see a therapist. I've had 5 different therapists the last 10 years. At the end of each session, I always felt like it was a weird form of prostitution - where you are basically paying someone to listen to you vent.

He said that I had sexual tension

and I just needed to "relax". He then tried to stick his hand down my pants. Let's just say, he no longer has a job.

Experience No.1 was the crippling overbearing

art therapist with snakes whispering at me in her hair. She'd brush against me and I felt hounded by what she thought was transference. All the while talking down to me like I'm a small child. I felt violated. It took courage to end it with her. She was emotional which made it...

I had one majorly bad experience with a

therapist when I was 25. Initially it went well as he seemed to have insights - indeed I learnt a few things that stood to me when I went back to therapy. But even in my first session I had a moment where I wondered about him, where he got stupidly snotty about the way I...
