Anyone have an unsuccessful procedure?

I had mine done a week ago to the day. The dressing finally came off, and I have disolving stitches.

The "weird" thing that I am noticing, is that the entire area where the graft was done is a nice pink, EXCEPT for a little patch on top of the root that was supposed to be covered. It is white, which I guess means it has not yet been able to receive blood.

Now, I am assuming that this little 2mm x 2mm patch isn't ALL they used to graft, (Usually they use a larger piece of skin and cover a larger area than necessary?) so if the rest is pink, can I assume this patch will soon follow?

(I hope that wasn't confusing..it's hard to explain)

My first try at my graft didn't work and the tissue retracted but the second time it worked-see my story which explains more about my experience.
