I Had a Miscarriage

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 4,128 People

It all started on the 11th of February,

I'd woken up at 5AM for work. I was feeling great. I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich, woke up my niece for school, and took a shower. As soon as I got dressed, I started feeling queasy. I dismissed it as a sick spell, but five minutes later I was puking up my breakfast, my...

I've had 2, both when I was 12 weeks along.

I always feel awkward when people express their sympathy to me because I'm not sad about it. I will meet them in heaven someday and it will be awesome! :)

Some days it doesn't seem like it

even happened and then others it feels like I'm still going through it all. It's crazy how things happen. I never wanted children and have always had physical ailments that made me believe it wasn't even an option for me. Out of nowhere it hit me that I just knew I was pregnant...

When I was married, I had two miscarriages.

The doctor said that the fibroid tumors in my uterus were so many, that they pushed the embryo off in one instance, and crushed it in the second. My husband left me then, and I was devastated for both the loss of my babies and then ultimately my marriage because I could not...

In March of 2012, I had the Essure procedure.

For those that might not be aware, the Essure procedure is supposed to be a form of permanent birth control. Two coils are inserted into the fallopian tubes and triggers the body into forming scar tissue around those coils thus blocking contact between the ***** and egg. Usually...
