I Had a Miscarriage

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 3,919 People

I've only ever told two (non-doctor) people.

I was way too young. The father was the most horrible, terrifying, destructive man I've ever met. I was only a couple of weeks along. I'd probably make a **** mum anyway. But it was still my baby, you know, and sometimes it still bothers me.

I've had 2, both when I was 12 weeks along.

I always feel awkward when people express their sympathy to me because I'm not sad about it. I will meet them in heaven someday and it will be awesome! :)

When I was 19 I was in a FWB relationship

that I ended up falling for. I got pregnant and had a miscarriage. I never told anyone but some close friends about it. He never knew and neither does my family. I cried for weeks straight about it and now I feel like that is probably my only chance to be a mother.
