    Vba2c

It was actually a VBA2C--a vaginal birth after 2 caesarian sections. My first pregnancy, I was induced due to preeclampsia (serious enough preeclampsia that I was having difficulties with my vision).  I labored for eight hours before a doctor came in and found I had not...

    Faith Vs Doubt

My c section was due to failure to progress because the baby was not descending and fetal distress. I had endured about six hours of active labour, got to 9 cm and then the baby's heart rate started to drop. The OB suggested a c section. At the time I was disappointed but also...

    Vbac Home Birth

I had a total hell experience when I had my DD in the hospital, ending in an emergency C. I swore I'd never have a child again in that atmosphere unless there was a good medical reason I'd have to. Six yrs later I had a beautiful boy in the peace of my own home. He was born in 4...

    I Did It!

And without an epidural! Yay! I didn't know if I could make it without pain medicine for so long but I did. It was only until the last hour before pushing that I asked for stadol to get the edge off, but no epidural... I thank my husband for endurance...

Not Perfect, But I Had My Vbac

After my induction-turned-cesarean left me miserable and unable to bond with my daughter, a chance encounter started me on the path to VBAC. I planned a homebirth for my second baby and saw two wonderful midwives starting around 12 weeks. The pregnancy was uncomplicated except...

I Have Not Had A Vbac But Do Need Advice!

I am 19 years old and am due August 27th, 2013. I had a C-Section in 2011 when my daughter was born in July. About 2 weeks before my due date my daughter flipped and was breech and my Dr. did not really give me an option she basically told me I had to have a C-section. Honestly I...

    My Vba2c

After having two c-sections I honestly didn't think a vaginal birth would be an option for me when I again fell pregnant. My first birth had been a planned c-section when my twins decided to start sibling rivalry early and fight for oxygen in the womb. So they were taken out 2...

    Four Vbacs, No Explosions

My first baby was an unnecesarean.  My second baby was an all natural VBAC in a hospital.  My other three were born at home, with another on the way.  I'm quite the birth advocate now.  I politely challenge doctors (because they make really stupid comments...

    Loved My Vbac!

I had a wonderful VBAC experience and would do it all over again. My C-section was in 2004 because of face up presentation, which really was not a reason at all to do a C-section. This time around, I lucked out and the baby was in a good position. I had gestational diabetes but...
