    A Miserable Experience

I had to get my wisdom teeth removed when I was 15. Apparently they were inside the nerves in my gums, and if they were to be pulled, it could affect my nerves and I would lose feeling in my jaw...or something like that. Anyway, I went to get my wisdom teeth checked out and they...

    Whoo~ That was super easy.

The worst part was probably going there. I was very nervous and had to go into the surgical room all by myself. It was a little scary. They gave me laughing gas and let me relax a little bit. Once I was relaxed my doctor came in, greeted me, asked me if I took my meds and if I...

Surgery was not as bad as I assumed. The recovery is the hard part, I can chew some but I am getting annoyed with liquids and soft foods blah!

Getting my wisdom teeth pulled wasn't too bad

for me. It was the most painful thing ever, but my cheeks didn't swell and I didn't get any infections or anything. The worst part of having my wisdom teeth pulled was not being able to eat for like 2 weeks, that was ******* terrible.

My wisdom teeth never bothered me,

even though they grew in sideways, underneath the gums. I was strongly advised to get them removed to avoid future problems, so I did.

I had one upper wisdom tooth removed two days ago. The dentist gave me NO pain killers! (Everyone else on here seemed to get percocet or vicodin.) When I called the next day (after a pain-filled, sleepless night) and asked for some he told me most people didn't need them, I...
