    Wisdom Teeth Extraction

Well I had all four wisdom teeth out 2 days ago (April 25th 2007), the days before the surgery I was really nervous and really scared of having a dry socket. I was put to sleep for the operation when I came around I did feel abit of pain but it was managable. When I...

My ones were removed just yesterday.

Now I look like a hamster, and that's very funny to look at, but also kind of annoying, because eating is the difficult part.

    Whoo~ That was super easy.

The worst part was probably going there. I was very nervous and had to go into the surgical room all by myself. It was a little scary. They gave me laughing gas and let me relax a little bit. Once I was relaxed my doctor came in, greeted me, asked me if I took my meds and if I...

I don't remember a thing. I don't even remember leaving the dentist office, getting into the car and home. It hurt and I cried because my cheeks were ugly like s chipmunk. I was so emotional lol

Last night I ate at 11pm and I'm not supposed to eat after 12am and mom said I could die because it's too close to 12 and I was freaking out. When we get to the office this morning I was freaking out a little but once I got in the operating room that I really kind of lost it...

I had been putting this off for months and finally one of them got infected so I had no choice, it was time to get my wisdom teeth pulled.  I went the route of having an oral surgeon knock me out and pull them out.  It didnt hurt much, I didnt swell up.  It is just...

I have some questions about them,

first of all when should they start coming in? Also I don't think I have any room at all on my top jaw for them like literally my teeth are as far back as they can go, and second off I cannot feel any non erupted teeth in the back of my lower jaw so I don't know if I even can...

I ignored my dentists and orthodontists for years. "You're going to have to get your teeth removed!" "Make the call, Lacey!" My wisdom teeth were all coming in crooked. I had braces at the age of 14 and my teeth were perfectly straight afterwards. But I was warned that I would...

I had to get my wisdom teeth removed when I was 15. Apparently they were inside the nerves in my gums, and if they were to be pulled, it could affect my nerves and I would lose feeling in my jaw...or something like that. Anyway, I went to get my wisdom teeth checked out and they...

I was shaking like a heroin addict in withdrawal in the waiting room because I was only getting them done with a local anesthetic. I'm happy to report it went great. The doctor took literally 30-45 seconds to pull out all 3! No pain, just pressure of course. I could definitely...

I just got them extracted today.

When they tried to put me to sleep, it didn't work. I couldn't feel a thing, but I was totally conscious. I kept asking the surgeons questions about what they were doing, haha. As of right now, the local anesthesia has wore off, and it's pretty painful.

Had my wisdom teeth out a week ago today,

and let me tell you. The 2nd night I begged to go the hospital but ended up not. One of the most painful things and it was really overcrowding my teeth. I am still swollen and can't fully chew right now. But once I am healed I know I will be thankful.

month ago, and honestly, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I chose to be put under, as oppose to being just numbed up. For two reasons: 1. Apparently they were going to be sawing through my gums, to get two of the teeth out, and I didn't really want to be awake for that...
