I Had Several Teachers Who Made a Difference

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 2,550 People

    I have had several teachers.

.. who made negative impacts. I was never the best kid in class, but after one teacher lies and says I attacked her, and another says I'll go no where in life and end up joining the army, **** them.

    Mainly at University,

at school I understood very little and was not good at maths or languages. I think there are a lot of people who can't get things together when at school and some suffer later because of this

My last year of high school,

I went to public school... just because we had moved, and there were no private schools in our small town. It was the best year of my life, I think. I had several good teachers that I still think about today.

My first and second grade teacher always told me

that I never followed the crowd and how I was my own person(: even though I was little and it was different back then, I still try to live by that, that i don't need to 'fit in to society' to be happy.

    Salaries

Teachers' hefty salaries are driving up taxes, and they only work 9 or 10 months a year!     It's time we put things in perspective and pay them for what they do--baby sit! We can get that for less than minimum wage.  That's right.  Let's...
