I Hardly Ever Text

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 53 People

    Can't, Won't, Probably

Can't text, probably never will figure out the secret, but prefectly happy to pick up my mobile and answer a call. So long as I know who's on the other end. I can't be having to have to spend goodness knows how long trying to explain to someone they've got the wrong number. Pah.

I Just Can Not Text Fast Enough

I think about a million miles a minute, talk fast, and can not text that fast! I guess I am way old school, but I enjoy talking on the phone with the other person - even for only a few minute Plus - phone calls can be sexy - [Note to self: you SERIOUSLY...

    Not At All...

If I didn't have my phone with me during the day I could quite possibly go a little mental If I didn't have my phone with me at night, I might get some more sleep, but wouldn't have half as much fun

    What's the Point

I don't even have texting on my phone plan...I think I can text if I have to, but it costs money whenever I send one. I've only sent like two texts in my life though :-P I really don't see what the point of texting is when you can just make a regular old phone call. That's...

    Hate It

I hate texting so much. It makes me mad when your talking to someone and they are texting at the same time. Everyone says its useful because you can have two conversations at once and not be rude, but I get very offended because I feel like I'm not even worth their time and...

I Took It Off My Phone

I had a stalker and I had to take it off my phone. I dated this guy a couple times and it didn't work out so I told him that I didn't want to see him and he racked up 300 dollars in texts.

I don't have anyone to text. I talk to people online or I see them in real life so I don't really need to text. And I'm quite happy with that.

It's No Wonder We No Longer Know How to Talk to Each Other

Ok, I don't have a problem with email. Don't have a real probelm with cell phones other the the loud way people talk on them in crowds.  And the fact that many of the conversations on cell phones in public should be in private or could just wait till later. But texting, I...

    For Good Reason

For those of you who text me, because it's a business line I cannot text back. Even better, unless you specify who you are, all I get is a message and get to play put the puzzle together to figure out who it's from. It does become easier though when the clues are good...

    I Just Don't Enjoy It

I don't enjoy reading the gibberish that comes across my screen.  I need the Rosetta Stone just to decipher some of it. With the laziness that leads to misspellings, poor grammer, no capitalization or punctuation I would honestly prefer to never receive them. I also find...

I'm too impatient to text. My sister doesn't EVER answer her phone when I call - only when I text. So that's when I use it... I hate it though. I'd rather call you or see you in person. Or, hey, email works too. At least I can type things out easily...
