    I hate being called Ma'am! I mean, I am ONLY 20 years old! I know some people use it for a "respect" thing, but I am PERSONALLY offended by it! I Not like it at all!

    Oh I am a guy and I have super long hair and both ears pierced so you think you are being cute calling me Ma'am and smiling your cheesy smile. Well, only problem is, it was funny once, like a hundred years ago dude, please get some new material!

    I know that it's SUPPOSED to be out of respect,

    but that doesn't make me like the word. I also hate when I politely ask whoever calls me ma'am to not do it any more and they reply with "that's how I was raised." well that's great and all, but if you truly care about respect, then it should be respected when asked to not refer...

    It's Either Old Or A Man

    I have three reasons. One: It sounds like you're referring to the person as old. Two: It's an ugly and weird looking word. Three: It sounds like "man." Now that's rude to refer to a woman as ma'am. They may say it's suppose to mean, "miss." But I'd prefer miss instead of ma'am...
