I Hate Being Treated Like a Doormat

Not only that, but if they do "deserve it" then who is to decide that in the first place?

I just wish whatever gene in humans causes them to see themselves as superior to everyone else could be eradicated.

Friendship is a privilege. If you abuse it then there are consequences to your actions. Ruining a friendship can never be worth the gain you wanted.
Always treate others like you want to be treated.
