    Hidden Fees

I now owe money on a card because of stupid hidden fees. They are charging me daily until I pay I now owe them 500 on a 200 card. I am not paying that much. I did not see anything on the paper I signed that said they would charge me daily.

    I don't ever want a credit card.

I don't ever want a bank account because banks take out your money. You can have $700 in a account. You don't remove money out the account yet. You haven't went shopping in months. Next thing you know when your in the mood for shopping. You got $609 in the account. The bank...

Other companies get you hooked in saying that you need one cause they don't take other cards, so you get one.  Might as well be with a loan shark.  They start you out slow and low but as you charge on it they hike up the rate, and as long as they tell you about it...

Credit Cards Are The Devil's Checkbook

I strongly believe credit cards are rooted in evil, the likes of which is called debt. I strongly believe in NOT spending money I do not have. I rather be homeless living out of soup kitchens than in debt. That has always been my philosophy. Don't spend what you don't have.

    Hate Them Yes I Do.

They are from the devil. That is why my Ex loved them so much. If you can’t afford something then save until you can. That is pretty simple right, well not for her. Now I do keep one on hand for an emergency. You never know when something is going to happen and you do...

    Have One.....

And it is a check cashing card. I cut the rest of the devils into pieces and tossed. I was in debt once over the SOB's .. No more for the knowing of a zero balance is the greatest.

    Too Easy

Credit cards are to easy. Just hand it over and anything can and will be yours. Until it comes time to pay for it.  the interest rates on them is outrageous and when you make a payment only one little amount goes towards the principal. They help in an emergency but the...

Chase Adds $10 Fee On Certain Accounts

Seriously, do these banking morons live in a cave! Do they even realize we are in a recession and people are losing their jobs by the thousands! Guess not since they are enjoying places like the posh Venetian in Las Vegas. Just one of those perks with all the money...

    Damn You, Jp Morgan!

When I called to cancel my account, the woman asked "may I ask why you're canceling?" and even though I knew she was only doing her job, I had to answer "because I've decided to cut all ties to this materialistic and consumer driven system." There was a brief...

    Buying Groceries Lowers My Limit

Still trying to make some sense out of this but my credit card company actually lowered my limit because i used it to buy groceries. At first I thought this was some kind of joke but after contacting customer support, and i use that term loosely, reality set in. Apparently...

    I Ripped Mine Up!

I think all credit is bad and with some agencies doing credit as high as 29.9% APR You are only going to get yourself into debt. If you havn't got it, don't spend it I say. Money and things don't buy happiness.

To put it simply it is a matter of debt being

evil. Still I guess credit in an emergency does have it's place. Still most people don't use them for that. And the credit rating system is screwed up. You have to go into debt to prove you are good with money. How does that make sense?

Credit Cards Will Only Sink Your Credit

I remember when I was 18. My grandmother spoke to me about the importance of being responsible with credit cards. How if you were to own one, it would be wise to make a small purchase, and pay it off immediately. Sound advice. However, when you are 18, and you're parents didn...

When I got my first credit card, I've been sort of mindless about the logistics. I got it when I moved away for my first year of college and vowed to only use it for emergencies. A couple of years later, I had racked up a $400+ balance on that baby, and I only kept paying the...

    I Am Regretting Mine.

No more! I am crushed under late fees... I used them for urgent medical attention and wheelchair repairs and now I have so much grief. I don't know if I'm going to survive. I apply for jobs and get rejected daily.   ARRGH!

    I have two credit cards.

I used to be good about making payments but I've had a couple of hard months and I racked up some pretty bad debt. Usually I've been good about paying them off but fell behind. I should be on track again soon. Just gonna stop relying on these so much.

Guitar Center, and the Dumbest Idea Since the Plastic Jesus.....

For years, I swore, upon my dead granny's grave, that I would NEVER get a credit card.  Well, after being coerced into it by the punks at Guitar Center, as a form of a "displaced payment" card as I call it. So I use the card for those...
