    Lost In a Crowd

You would think that a person who is shy and doesn't want to be noticed, would be at home in large crowds, where nobody knows who you are or even cares to know. Well, I am not. I hate crowds with a passion. I feel panicky in large crowds, in throngs where people are up close to...

I have always lived in a small town.

At 50 years old i had to move to a big city. Millions of people. I never thought this could happen. It was a disaster in my life. My job has fifteen thousand workers. It's impossible find a place to talk to someone in peace. Specially by the phone. The noise is unbearable...

I just do not like crowds of people.

I feel unsafe, unsecured and like I am consistently being stared at. I am not all that attractive, what are they staring at. I like to run in a store, grab what I need and get out.

    I feel uncomfortable

when there are too many people around me in a room. Like for example, being in a restaurant where people from different tables chat loudly or having relatives at my home during thanksgiving. Having a lot of people in the same room will eventually lead them to talk louder so...

    Online Only

I do all my shopping online.  I feel like when I go in stores I have a shirt on that says "look at me."

    Personal Space Required

I like my personal space and you just can't have that in a crowd. You constantly get bumped and so many people are rude. I'll avoid a crowd whenever possible.

    Fear Of People, Multiplied

I'm an insecure person, low self-esteem, shy...interacting with people scares me. You'd think I would like being lost in a crowd, but I just feel trapped. I don't want anyone to notice me, yet feeling like a statistic makes me feel disconnected, negligible. I don't like people...

    Makes Me Irritable And Anxious

I'm an introvert, and while I like being around others I need time alone to recharge. That said, I can't stand crowds. Too many people, too little space, WAY too much energy. I'm sensitive to other people's energies and emotional states. Being in a large group is emotionally...

    Anxiety

I have a personal phobia of crowds. I have no idea why though. Sweaty palms, shaking, blushing, butterflies in the stomach. The symptoms aren't too wonderful to have.

    Crowds Aren't My Thing

I hate crowds. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. If I'm in a large crowd of people, I tend to become rather claustrophobic, and it's not a pleasant feeling. Plus the noise...I get overwhelmed very easily by noise. Needless to say, going clubbing is not very high on my...

Austin, Texas Should Be Renamed The "crowd Capital Of The World" Instead Of The Live Music Capital.

I was born & raised in Austin, Texas, but moved when I was around 20. I have since come back, and this place isn't the same at all. I understand that all cities grow, but this is ridiculous. Everwhere I go, there are tons & tons of people. I wake up at 6 in the AM, try to go...

    Why I Hate Crowds

Crowds of people terrify me.  Everyone is pulsing around you, against you, and there's nowhere you can go, really, to get away from them easily.  Hallways, malls, amusement parks -- all are bad.  Anywhere there's a crowd, I just get freaked out and have to find...
