I Hate It When Experiences Have Spelling and Grammar Mistakes

I would never join an eperience if it had a speeling or grammar mistake in the title. 503 People

I dont mind it too much

as long as it is excessive. Myself, I am on a smart phone and I need three years old fingers to hit all the right buttons....LOL

I wish there was a place here

where you could just write things instead of putting them under grammatically incorrect statements like "I Harry Potter is the best book series ever" (i seriously don't know if that's an actual example) Like that's not even an experience! From what I heard there uses to be a...

It's such a bother! or like sometimes i'll go

through a list of experiences and see two or three the exact same! (or so I think) then I wonder "How did they add it so many times?" Well when i'm skimming things my brain corrects it so I know what it meant but when I study it for a while i'll see that an apostrophe is out of...

    Guilty!

I hate when experiences have spelling & grammar mistakes...it doesn't always stop me from joining them though. The only way to fix it thus far, has been to create an entirely new and grammatically correct experience and the only thing more annoying than a mistake-ridden...

YES!!!! I tend to argue with my spellchecker

about compound and foreign words all the time! It dosn't help that my typing leaves so much to be desired, or that my thinking changes mid-sentence! - Katt

I will actually not add experiences

that have errors. I've seen a lot of really dumb ones, that aren't even trying to make sense, "I music", or ones that have really oddly placed quotation marks, "I "want to see you naked"", and a lot that have this weird "I 'M" stuff going on. Maybe you are forced to start...

    Really?

I just got through reading a story, though it took awhile due to the horrible spelling and sometimes missing punctuation changing the meaning of what the writer intended. One misspelling was funny, as it meant the opposite of what he intented. The man wrote "well deformed abs...

OK, I Do Occasioally Do a "Teh" and Sometimes Forget a "," and

have been known to totally forget to double check how to spell a word, but I do correct my mistakes as I see them and will NOT support or encourage anything ANYWHERE where the least bit of attention has been ignored; leaving a blatant grammar error, a mis-spelling...

I understand if there are people

who have English as their second language and cannot type words and sentences correctly or speak English fluently. But I highly dislike it when people are seemingly ignorant of the structure of a sentence or misspelling words numerous times. When I see text talk such as "LOL...

    It Drives Me Nuts!

Do they honestly not know?  Or do they not care?  I don't know which it is.  And, if they don't know, they should learn.  If they don't care...  My theories on that are a bit extreme.  I won't go there.  But, perhaps, people should create groups...

    Yes, I Do!

i'll admit, i always analyze the group titles before joining them to see if there's any spelling or grammar issues going on. that doesn't necessarily mean i won't join, but it does annoy me. when starting a new group, the least people can do is check to make sure the...

Now I don't pretend to be an English teacher

but it is so annoying when I am interested in someone's story but I cant FREAKING understanding what they are saying because of spelling and grammar errors. To make things worse, when I look at the age of the poster, I just shake my head.

correct grammar is sexier THAN bad grammar. 2) you message me with horrible grammar, THEN I block you. (Not really but still) 1) That dog is THEIRS. 2) THEY'RE walking the dog. 3) the dog park is over THERE. Gah. How hard is this? Yes, we all get lazy but for the love of god...

    Only Because

I know that is isn't correctable. I have created a couple of groups and realized after that there's an error in it, and you can't delete that group and make a new one, you can't even edit it to fix the problem. It just sits there mocking you; telling you that you are imperfect...
