I Hate Loud Noises

THIS is driving me absolutely freaking NUTS. I can't stand the constant noise in this house lately.
My neighbors have a dog that barks for at least a few hours every day and now they have a new baby that must be sick or something...

your sympathetic system is that which includes all your involuntary functions; audio, visual, breathing, heart rate, motility, bronchial passages, cardiovascular system, etc. ... almost all, if not all, organs and glands functioning...

In most cases, I avoid the word "hate".  Not here.  I really do hate loud noises, especially sudden ones like alarms or car backfires.I'll jump, and then be embarrassed 'cause nobody else jumped.  But growing up, loud sounds always...

Like the sound you get when the phone on the other end goes dead... you know that stupid loud right through your body sound that you get when the phone wants to be hung up.
Alarm clocks have the same effect...

I don't hate all loud noises, just noises people make. Whistling, humming, singing (unless it's proffesional), talking, yelling, laughing... Loud or soft, I hate it!

I'm partially deaf in both ears; not legally deaf (though the condition is gradually worsening) but enough so that I often miss something completely if someone is near soft-spoken or there is a mild amount of interference-noise around...

Mostly sudden ones like someone loud suddenly laughing or bangs or sudden telling. I dunno I think I got it from my dad because he always winces when he's surprised by any noise really.
