    Every time I say something,

    my bf gets offended or thinks I'm angry. But my friends who know me know when I say anything I'd say "I'm angry" literally. it feels terrible to be a bringer of negativity, when I mean things in neutral/positive ways.

    It is a tragedy that people always hear what they hear but rarely what is said.  It is an extension, I suppose, of reading what they expect to read and not what is written.
