When I was a kid, I used to beg my mom to buy the pulp-free kind, but she never listened. I never understood why, as I was the only person in the family who drank it. Every morning, out came the old strainer to get rid of that horrid stuff.

I just don't handle the texture of pulpy OJ well.  Liquids are supposed to be smooth (or bubbly, I suppose), not studded with bits of stuff.  Yuck!

I Prefer to Drink My Juice, Not Eat It.

I just hate picking the pulp out of my teeth after I drink it. I like to swish flavored beverages around in my mouth to get the full enjoyment before I suck it down into my gut, but I find with pulpy orange juice I just skip the enjoyment and guzzle like a duck.

Its a Drink Not a Slurry

I like a big gulp of juice, not something I have to halfway chew to get down.

Which muppet looked at orange juice and thought "Hmm, yes this needs pulp"? It's a vile! It's an abomination! Do we put bits of tea leaves in tea? No. Do we put bits of coffee in coffee? No. So why would we put bits of orange in orange juice? That's lunacy.

    I'm Joining This Movement!

There are two aspects to my experience with pulp.  One is how it tastes, along with the sensation of having a load of pulp swirling around inside my mouth just before I'm ready to swallow.  The second is my mind's impression of pulp (Skill-testing question:  does...

It just doesn't work for me. I'll tolerate it though because I know it's good for you, and honestly I'm a relatively frugal person so I buy off-brand or store brand usually which sometimes doesn't have a pulp free option. My favorite orange juice is Tropicana with calcium! lol...

So Chunky. Why Does It Have To Be So Chunky.

Legitimate question. Why is it so damn chunky while the rest is smooth, delicious, almost utter citrus bliss? Who can like pulp? Do they enjoy chunky milk, too? Eugh. Also, hello world.
