I Hate Racism Sexism and Intolerance In General

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 1,744 People

I despise hate and intolerance in general.

I dislike racists and sexist people and those who judge and hate against poor gays and lesbians. There are people who I dislike because the drastically change themselves in unnatural ways though but it is not a dislike that is anywhere as strong as my dislike of haters.

    Just My Opinion

Well I hate racism because hello it is 2009 and that is truly played out. And being around racist people is not good. When I was younger I went to an all white school and it was really sad to experience it first hand people hating you because of your color. I also find it...

I saw this group on the news from a small town

in the Deep South. They actually have a solid plan on overcoming discrimination with a therapeutic model for building relationships compassionately in communities across social boundaries such as race. They are raising money for a documentary to start a national conversation and...

I was viewed as inferior by a wealthy white man who looked upon me as merely a servant or just a worker and not a person.

We're all different, we're all individuals, treat every stranger as a potential friend. I believe noone is superior to anyone else, it's just a misguided state of mind.

I used to get into loads of arguements with

really hateful people, I only talked to them because there was nobody else. They made fun of me for having a different political view to them, they are really right wing and blame immigrants for all their problems. They would also make fun of Islamic kids in our school and...

Help Silence the Hate Speeches of Glen Beck

Dear friends, As you may know, right-wing talk show hosts have been bringing race-based fear mongering into the mainstream, but FOX's Glenn Beck just took it to another level. On Tuesday, Beck said:      "This president has exposed himself as a...

    Hate Is An Understatement.

Alright. I HATE having to do this, because you know what they say - 'don't **** where you eat!'. I really don't want to spoil my EP experience for the sake of being angry, but I. Bloody. Well. Am. I'm unbelievably, intolerably (yes, I said it!), endlessly pissed off. I'm NOT...

    I just can't comprehend hate.

why would you have any feeling at all toward someone for being different, except maybe intrigue... Worry about yourself. nobody's lifestyle involves you but your own. if you're comfortable with yourself how could you possibly harness hate at all?

Yep, Experienced It Many, Many Times.

No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite. NELSON MANDELA...
