    You call an ambulance

and come in with problems and the doctor says you shouldn't be here for these problems. What a waste of money for the ambulance. And a waste of time in general.

    I get that they're busy,

tired, and probably just went through an all-nighter with heart failure patient, but I'd appreciate it if they pay attention to patient's complains, even when it seemed trivial compared to others. I read articles that encourage patients to be as truthful about their symptoms as...

I hate doctor's in general because

so few are nice to me! They are giving a service, they should be pleasant even with all their schooling... at the end of the day, we pay them to give us a service. We deserve to get a good experience, especially because our health can be stressful.

Not Sure Why A Doctor Would Say This...

I'm not sure at all why a doctor would say this. When I was a kid, my mom took my brother to the hospital, because the lymph nodes on his neck were swollen because he was sick. The doctor there said, "It could be anything, even cancer." (I'm not sure if those were his actual...

    Why Are Doctors Such Jerks?

Aren't they supposed to treat patients with respect? Maybe they watched too many episodes of House.

This was Wensday. My toenail had a bacterial

infection. This was an office in Milford, DE. I had to see this guy, because the other guy I used to see was booked by then. When we got there, I was very nervous. Then I finally saw him. When he looked at it, he told my mom that it "was caused by a bad shoe I was wearing". Um...

Now, there are many good doctors, I'm just talking about the bad ones, and I think most of us have encountered a few of those. I include specialists in this. Two years ago, I saw a specialist about my IBS, who was interested only in his own opinion. I ended up having a shouting...

One time, I was at the doctors office near my

house because I was sick or something (I can't fully remember why but whatever) and I was sitting there and the doctor came in and he did this one thing where they press down on area of your stomach to see if it hurts and when he did that, he harshly pushed me down, and...

get an X-ray done on my hip cause it was cause me some pain. When the results came back, the doctor told me I didn't have a ball on my right hip (where the ball and socket is supposed to be). He said for me to walk as much as I possibly can cause one day I'll never be able to...

Docteur Grosguinol. I have to go

for regular check ups because I have anaemia, to my doctor. Yesterday, I went and my doctor was away, there was a temporary replacement. Well, his manner was rude and rough, and I don't much like that. I've met it before when we first came back to France and I consulted with...

When You Are Ill, Being Upset Is The Last Thing You Need

Most doctors, most medical workers actually, are wonderful, caring, amazing people who deserve our respect and admiration for the consistently great jobs they do, in saving our lives, curing us, treating symptoms and making life manageable. I am so lucky to be living in the UK...
