    Rubber Ducky You're The One!

My favorite is Ernie. He is always upbeat and I love the rubber ducky song. I still know it by heart and would sing it to my kids when they were little. =)

    Erine And The Cookie's

I remember a show where Erine had like a cake dish with a lid and Bert was calling him for lunch. Erine kept messing with Burt about the cookies. He was asking Burt about getting a cookie out of the dish. Erine would say let me see before I can have a cookie I have to lift the...

Burt And Ernie Got Me Into Trouble...

This little beauty got me into big trouble as a child. I think I was asked to do something I didn't want to do, and having watched Ernie's response to Burt, I replied in kind to my mother. 'Can't hear ya, mom, I've got a banana in my ear.' I heard her fine after the spanking I...

It Takes Me Back Every Time....

I should have googled it ( to make sure that I get it right but....) It's the episode in which Aaron Neville was the guest.... He is singing "if I could visit the moon..." with Ernie.... It's been so long since I've seen it.... But it is a classic & will FOREVER make me smile...

    Ernie And The Government…

Ok......so she's not EXACTLY from Sesame Street, but she was created by Jim Henson. MOKEY! From Fraggle Rock!!! C'mon....she reminds me of this really cool friend I had in high school who loved art class WAY too much. Ok....but from Sesame Street; probably that Chef character...

    Oscar The Grouch...

I think Oscar is responsible for my obsession with emotionally unavailable men. Nothing intrigues me more than a sign hung on the Trash Can saying 'Scram'.  Slimey the Worm: [after reading Trash Gordon] More! More! More! Oscar the Grouch: No, no more, Slimey. That was a lot of...

    Hands Down --oscar

I have ALWAYS adored the spots that featured Oscar The Grouch. I can truly say I think my "sarcasm" is a direct result of Sesame Street. What is not to like, he is green, has no visible nose --hello he lives in a trash can so this physical flaw seems appropriate. He kept it "real...

    C Is For Cookie

... that's good enough for me! Cookie Monster is my favorite Sesame Street Muppet. He never had a cross word for anybody, he had a jolly spirit, he was never grumpy, his only fault was that he ate too much- and half of what he ate was inedible. ehh... add a little hot sauce, it...
