It all started back in April 2015.

I went out and hung out with some friends of mine. I get a voicemail...it was from Psycho. She had asked if I saw her phone that she misplaced. I got home and I told her No I haven't seen it. She finds her phone 2 days later and she screams at me and my nephew asking us "Why did...

    Tired of Me Me Me!

My sister is conceited.  She doesn't see or talk to any of us very much, but when she does, she is sure to tell us how perfect her life is, how incredible her kids are, and she has once even said, 'doesn't that make you sick?' Well, yes it does!  Not the fact that you...

    They Say Narcissists Don't Suffer...

I read once that Narcissists don't suffer from their mental illness--just the rest of us do. Not only do Narcissists refuse to treat their personality disorders because of an unshakeable belief that they are perfectly fine, but also because they are not suffering. It's all of us...

My stepdaughter had a shrine to herself in her

room. I bought her a photo board for her room, and gave her pictures of her birthday parties, family photos, vacation pictures, pictures of her dad and mom holding her when she was a baby. She jammed them into the board so that she was the only one showing in every single...

If we're going by professional diagnoses,

I AM the narcissistic family member but, to be honest, I'm not the only one. My mom was a narcissist, my dad's a bit of a narcissist and I've got a brother who's kind of a narcissist as well... I guess it runs in the family.

    My Brother...

...tells every woman that he dates that he is better looking than they are. The women think that he's being cute. My brother is serious and tells them as much. My neice continues the tradition by telling everyone she meets that all of her uncles are good looking. What a family...

My father always had dreams of grandeur.

Was it the drugs or was it an unchecked narcissism? Sometimes I check for disorders, I think that's why he moved hell on earth for me not to become a psychologist. When he was a teen he had these beaten up journals of his grand destiny. He used religion, family , friends to...

    My dad is a narcissist

and its impossible to live with him. He thinks he's the best at everything and thinks that other ppl's needs and opinions dont matter. He's even referred to himself as God a few times (im not exaggerating). He thinks everyone around him is stupid and he openly expresses this...

    I Do

The definition of my mother IS : inordinate fascination with oneself; excessive self-love; vanity, erotic gratification derived from admiration of one's own physical or mental attributes, being a normal condition at the infantile level of personality development. I can say this...

Anger is not something to be ashamed of.

Anger is a natural response to injustice and can help break the cycle of abuse. Anger is a crucial part of recovery. Two weeks ago on 7/31/2015, I finally put the pieces together, saw the actions for what they were and realized my mother is not only a victim of a Narcissist...

    To my father, my abuser

for 25 years: I am writing to inform you that I know exactly who and what you are. Additionally, despite your many years of bullying & brainwashing, despite all the innocence and potential you robbed from me, you no longer have any control over me. I'm no longer afraid of you...

My mother is a passive liar.

She denies that I worked and says its unimportant I made money. She will then complain that her own money is not enough. If possible, she denies things others do, facts, according to preference. She will even try to convince me that it is so and even make up facts to support...

    One of my Parents is.

And I don't know what to do anymore. I am in my late 20s and it still feels like I am in shackles. To add to that, I have a co-dependent Mother and a special child (she has cerebral palsy) of a younger sister. Growing up in our household, it only pained me ever since. I have...

My mom is either Narcissistic or Histrionic. Perhaps she's both. She will never be diagnosed properly because she does not feel she needs to change, therefore she will never find herself in a therapist's office. Whatever her deal is, I hate her and find it depressing that I...

I realized today that there is a good chance my

father is a narcissist. :( I've probably known for years but Jose to ignore it, naturally thinking he just had a ton of self confidence in himself, and excusing any abusive behavior as "just who he is" because of how abusive his father was when he was growing up. It's hit me...

My father is a clown of a person.

He claims that he is the best and has never praised or trusted anyone else. He immediately puts blames for things even for things that don't matter. There is no point discussing with him as it always leads to ignorance, an emotional draining, no solution, information or advice...
