There was this man,

At some point you actually could compare him to Johnny Depp. Not that he looks like him but there is just something about him that makes him very attractive even though he is twice my age....
I first met him 5 years ago, we run into each other about twice a year.

I work as a bartender in a venue, this man actually had the courage to kiss me while I was working...
I admired his courage but I am a sarcastic woman, I had a laugh about it and went back to work.

A few days later he actually contacted me, he wanted to visit me. I did not think that was a good idea for I like to leave whenever I feel uncomfortable, leaving your own home is a weird thing to do and I could not think about a polite way to kick someone out...
I made up some lame excuse not to have him over and then he asked if I would like to come to his place.
I had doubts about it, I dated a man who was 11 years older before and it didn't turn out to be much good... of course it had to do with being in different stages of life, and with this knowledge I was laughing at the idea of this man even contacting me.
But on the other hand I was very curious. You just never really know what is oh this man's mind, or if he is any good at all. He is very charming but quite mysterious.

Anyway, he wanted to pick me up and take me to his house, where he would make me a dinner.
A dinner with no obligations or expectations was kind of the deal.
So he picked me up and we went to his house (costs 3 hours).
And when I walked in I was amazed by the old ceiling with chandeliers, there was a fire place and a real long table with a candelabra at the end.
That is where he made me sit down and poured me a glass of wine.
His house was stunning, and as I was sitting there admiring the beauty of the moment (I already felt like I was in one of those movies like pride & prejudice) he was in the kitchen making me 'dinner'.
It was an open kitchen and we talked while he was preparing the food.
I was still thinking about what was going on, and why on earth he did this for me, all of the sudden he interrupted my thoughts by telling me that I had to eat in the Italian way.
(Italians never finish what is on there plate because they like to eat a lot of courses)
He did not just make me dinner, he made me a five-course menu...
I was blown away, not ever in my life has a man put so much effort in doing something for me.

Now, I am sure a lot of people would say he is doing it because he wants to have sex...
But believe me, he can get all he wants on a Saturday in a random pub, so it's not just that.
It is nothing serious either, and I do not know what it actually is.
But I am just amazed by how much effort he puts into it.

So, this is the first secret...
It feels good to finally get it off my chest. It's kind of a shame that it is not accepted...
I mean why so serious? It's not like we're planning to marry and get children :p
