Hi so to start. when I was little my mom was

very sick, the doc. couldn't figure out what she had, if God hadn't healed her she would have died. She had many good healthy years. But then about a year ago she got sick, and it triggered this sickness again. She gets really bad muscle spasms, they thought she had fibromyalgia...

My mom was diagnosed with emphysema 1 year ago.

I struggle with the thought of losing her every day. It is the hardest thing to watch her struggle to breath at times. I am scared I am not strong enough to handle this is what ever the future has to bring.

    My mom has kidney disease.

She was diagnosed with it when I was eleven (sixteen now) and after she had my little sister. I'm one of five kids now and although everything is okay with her right now I still worry a lot. Like if she's gone for too long I worry she's in the hospital. I know she's not going to...

    Why?

My mom has been battling multiple sclerosis and it's recently feeling unfair that not only does she have to have her life taken away from her as she is too sick to even be herself but me and my family are suffering too. I miss the days my mom would drive me to school, cook...

I'm so broken up. My dad has had Multiple

Sclerosis for over 10 years, but this last year has been worse than the previous 1 combined. He's my rock and my strength. I admire him more than anyone else in the world. He is intelligent and kind and a good man. And now he's turning into someone I don't know. I can't talk...

    Very Suddenly

It all started on what was supposed to be a relatively happy Friday. I was taking the last final of my college career (history), and I thought I heard my phone vibrate several times. Since I was in the middle of an exam, I obviously couldn't answer my phone. As soon as I finished...

    My dad has been blind

for almost 3 years. This has affected me in ways i would've never even thought could affect me. Everyday he gets mad at every single thing me or my mom or 10 year old sister do all because of his medicine. We tried so hard to raise money and started fundraisers for this...

My Life Can't Halt For Hers.

It hurts that I can no longer be in my mothers life. Its hurts much more that she has convinced my few other family members that i've turned agains them. She used to be a business woman, involved in some government work, things that kept her busy enough to allow someone else...

    Exhausting

The nights she cries and it comes through the walls are the worst. I can hear her sobs all night as I lay in bed. It's a sound of desperation and makes me want to cry with her. I used to check on her every once in awhile, just to make sure she was ok. I would stand by the door...
